The Smiley project highlights bespoke white oak cabinetry, where the integration of concealed storage solutions is a central feature. Particular attention was given to the alignment of the wood grain, especially in ensuring continuity between floor and ceiling details.

The length of the panels also presented a warping challenge, requiring careful consideration in both design and technique. The fabrication of the doors was therefore meticulously planned to minimize deformation and ensure a lasting finish.
