Nestled on the shores of Lac Ouareau in Saint Donat, this project brings together contemporary architecture, natural light and a fully embraced chalet lifestyle for a home designed as much for kids as for moments with friends.

This project highlights custom white oak cabinetry with a rift cut grain across several rooms of the house: kitchen, media unit, mudroom, laundry room, primary bedroom and medicine cabinet. The intent was a clean and continuous integration with details designed for everyday use: LED strip and rebated pull in the kitchen, open pull in the mudroom to let clothing breathe, push-to-open for the media unit and integrated pulls in the primary bedroom.
Located on the shores of Lac Ouareau in Saint Donat, the residence benefits from a bright architecture oriented toward the landscape. The millwork reinforces this atmosphere by adding warmth and integrating lighting and equipment discreetly. Coordination between Ghoche Architecte and OVI Construction was essential to resolve details upstream and ensure a clean installation consistent with the project vision.
